Hmm. This is now a 2 way street. I've created a comment section here so you can correct my spelling, context or just ask why I haven't posted any pictures yet. I may yet live to regret this. Happy Day.
I'm all verklempt. Talk amongst yourselves. I'll give you a topic. The Elgin-O'Hare Expressway; runs neither to Elgin nor O'Hare, and it's not very expressive.

So, i've been criminally absent from the blogosphere in the last month. I assure you it wasn't intentional. It wasn't anything you said or did. It's me. Really.
It's wierd since Vegan thanksgiving and the Doctor Who Convention happened the month just sort of carried on at it's own pace. I went to St. Louis for work. Dealt with a lot of general craziness at work. Managed a fair amount of shopping. Celebrated A Very Thaxton Christmas with Jim's Parents and a plethora of siblings.
Stranger yet, I did get pictures of most everything. So, yes. I'll have galleries up. I know you don't believe me. I've said it countless times before, and we're still stuck with just those pics of Kiddieland and the Renegade Craft fair - and the navigation is clunky. I heard you Myrtle. Something has got to be done.
Anyhow, over at Gapers Block there was a bit about resultions and what people are doing for 2004. I've had a couple swimming around in my head this year, so to make them official I thought I'd post them. I'm posting them here as well, so in 364 days time i can see if i've come anywhere close to filling them.
I seem to have the same ones recurring every year... Maybe this year since I'm "publishing" them i'll get a little better about following through on them.
Garden Variety Self Betterment Resolutions:
1. take some exercise regularly. weekly at least. at a gym if necessary.
2. post a blog entry on a weekly basis.
3. find a way to be more outwardly social.
Honorable Mentions:
~Also want to make it to at least 4 Chicago museums this year.
~Get back into the habit of seeing live music at least once a month.
~Cooking more at home.
So those are them. Anyone want to take bets on how long they'll last?
In any case, really, yes - I'm going to have pictures posted soon. Really.
